COMPACTION
To ensure your driveway is finished the right way, we have our own dedicated compaction crew that arrives once he grading work is complete. With the use of a vibratory roller and plate compactor, your driveway's durability increases dramatically.
MATERIALS
These are our most commonly used materials. Other gravel types are available upon request.
Asphalt Millings

Asphalt millings are a recycled material made from old asphalt. They compact and bind better than traditional gravel, creating a more durable surface that resists potholes and washouts.
Road Gravel

Road gravel meets DOT standards and is commonly used on gravel roads throughout the Northwoods. It’s made of a sandy/clay base blended with fractured stone for strength, compaction, and durability.

Red Granite

Red Granite is a decorative gravel. Because of its appearance, it's commonly used at homes with log/stained exteriors.
Stone Topcoat

A stone topcoat is driveway option offered to combat the sandy nature of road gravel. We begin with a foundation of road gravel, then apply a top layer of either 3/4" Round Stone or 3/4" Fractured Stone to enhance durability and appearance.
3/4" CSBC
$
CSBC offers a solid alternative to standard road gravel, featuring a light grey appearance and higher stone content. It compacts more effectively, resulting in a firmer and more durable surface.
